Burnaby, BC (November 13, 2024) – The Honourable Terry Beech, Minister of Citizens’ Services and Member of Parliament for Burnaby North–Seymour, announced $1.5 million in funding for pH7 Technologies during a visit to the company’s industrial-scale Demonstration Plant in Burnaby. pH7 CEO Mohammad Doostmohammadi and CFO Dan Parmar, along with key members of the pH7 team, joined Minister Beech for a plant tour showcasing their breakthrough metal extraction processes.

This $1.5 million from PacifiCan will enable pH7 to purchase and install specialized equipment to support a more economical and sustainable approach to critical metal extraction, aligning with global clean energy goals.

Compared to traditional methods, pH7 Technologies’ advanced extraction technology reduces greenhouse gas emissions, water, and energy usage significantly, paving the way for a sustainable future in metal processing. This funding is projected to drive growth in Burnaby’s technology manufacturing hub and support green energy initiatives across Canada.
